User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0 Build ID: 20120312181643 Steps to reproduce: I have FF running on a notebook. I start FF, remove my notebook from the docking station and plug the notebook onto a different monitor (or the other way round). Actual results: FireFox either freezes or the app does not build up the content any more (see attachment). This happens always. No other application shows that behavior. Expected results: Like with the other apps, the GUI should build up correctly and should respond to input.
Please disable the hardware acceleration under (alt key)tools/options/advanced/general , restart FF and test again. Post the graphic section from about:support here if that fixes the issue. BTW: >No other application shows that behavior. I bet that no other application is using hardware acceleration on your system :-)

Yes, disabling the hw acceleration solves the problem :-) Attached a pdf which shows the details of my graphic card.
