The Spotify devs asked if we could do this again. From the original bug:

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #649980 +++

The Spotify developers are using Breakpad/Socorro, and they asked about our system library symbols. We've got a bunch in symbols_os, so it'd be nice if we could just give them a tarball of that to save them the hassle of working it out themselves.

We do have some Flash Player symbols in there that Adobe hasn't given us the OK to redistribute, so if you can leave out the following directories that'd be good:
"Flash Player" FlashPlayer-10.4-10.5 FlashPlayer-10.6 NPSWF32.pdb

I don't know if that bug has the exact details of what we did last time, but it's pretty much just "tar up the contents of symbols_os excluding those few directories".
For the record, last time jabba generated the tar and gave it to me (I forget where) and I simply stuck it on my people account. (It only amounted to 1.4GB compressed.)

:ted i have tar-gzipped the symbols_os and placed a copy (symbols_os-050212.tgz) in your home directory on people.

the following were excluded:

 symbols_os/Flash Player*
 symbols_os/FlashPlayer-10.6*
 symbols_os/FlashPlayer-10.4-10.5*
 symbols_os/NPSWF32.pdb*
