User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0
Build ID: 20120420145725

Steps to reproduce:

Upgraded to Thunderbird v12

Actual results:

The "Feed Subscriptions" dialog stopped showing any feeds (it is empty). Feeds still exist and can be refreshed, but I have no way to unsubscribe, etc.

Expected results:

The Feed Subscription dialog should have displayed all of my current feeds.
is there any error in the Error Console?

try this: select each and every folder in the feeds account, then Get Messages on the account, then bring up the Subscribe dialog.

this was supposedly fixed with the patch in bug 743467, and Tb13 has autorebuild functionality on folders (bug 738726).
Yes, there was an error in the error console:

Timestamp: 4/27/2012 10:34:09 PM
Error: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER) [nsIMsgFolder.getStringProperty]"  nsresult: "0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER)"  location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/folderPane.js :: getSmartFolderName :: line 2467"  data: no]
Source File: chrome://messenger/content/folderPane.js
Line: 2469

I tried bringing up each feed, getting the messages, and bringing up the subscribe dialog. No go.
some other things to try:

1. do a rt click on each and every folder, select Properties, then click Repair Folder. restart, Get Messages on the account, open Subscribe.

2. add the string pref Feeds.logging.console, value of debug. Options->Advanced->General, Config Editor button. if you have the Console2 extension, you can select all or multiselect items, and paste them into an attachment here. restart, Get Messages, check Suscribe.

3. export the feeds. does the file look complete?

4. if possible, you could try with the Tb13 beta and see if the problem continues.

5. as a last resort, if there is a reasonable export opml file, you could create a new feeds account, and import the opml file into the new account. export does not maintain folder structure, unfortunately. see if Subscribe works in the new account.

I am not able to export, since there are no feeds displayed, the button is grayed out. I tried adding a new feed. It hung and the end of the process (status indicator almost to the end of the area). I went to x-out of it and it asked "abort feed subscription?" and it didn't wait for me to answer. The feed has appeared and is loaded in my main browsing window but still doesn't appear in my subscription window.

I'll try your other suggestions when I get home tonight.
this bug is almost certainly due to using a Tb12 beta rather than the final Tb12 release (which had a fix for a confirmed case of this issue).

reopen if reproducible in Tb13.
