As seen by now there is no visible release folder for Firefox 12.0 on the FTP server:

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases

Not sure if this is intended but it will not allow users to download the latest release builds.
Huh, Are you sure??

I see it at: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/12.0/

Also I note the official download is at http://www.mozilla.org/products/download.html?product=firefox-12.0&os=win&lang=en-US (for me) which grabs from our mirror network.

If you truely do not see it on ftp.mozilla.org can you let us know what IP you get for that (nslookup ftp.mozilla.org)
WFM too. Perhaps the sort order mislead you?
Strange. It's there now. But I'm also sure I haven't seen it before. Not sure if that could be an internal problem because I have tried to access the 12 folder afterward directly and that worked too. Anyway. Nothing to do here.

I've seen this happen from time to time, usually when using Internet Explorer in a VM. Reloading a few times or typing in the folder path usually fixes it.
