From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2 i686; en-US; 0.8.1)
BuildID: 2001040421
If you type a search term into Mozilla that contains a dot and then click search
Mozilla treats it like a URL. This is the case even if the search term has a space/
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type "Netscape 6.5" into URL bar
2.Click Search button
Actual Results: "Resolving host Netscape 6.5" appears in the status bar
Then a dialog box comes up saying that the host cannot be found.
Expected Results: The browser sends the search string to the default search
engine and the search results page is displayed.
Google is the default search engine in my prefs but that souldn't matter :)
