Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to planet.mozilla.org
2. Start panning around 

Expected result:
- page should pan with no problem

Actual result:
- the page content is smashed, please see the video for better understanding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGyGIoo-Qd0
What you're seeing is not a checkerboard anymore but rather a low resolution cached version of the page (bug 746016).
