Sentry is the hotness in error aggregation, and NIH. It's very easy to set up on the Django side.[1] Once bug 749789 is resolved, we should add Sentry error handling.

Adding to backlog, I would love to get to this soon.

The comments in bug #750247 suggest that bug should block this one.

Bumping to Q3 for now since it depends on IT bug 749789

Depends on: 816137
Bug 749789 isn't resolved yet, but the service is there. Bug 816137 covers getting the python dependencies on our side, then it's a matter of IT adding some configs to settings_local.

I've created the projects (dev, stage, prod) on errormill.m.o. When I get a chance, I will create appropriate users and teams.
Bumping to Q4, might end up in Q1?
Target Milestone: 2012Q3 → 2012Q4
Is there any way to accelerate the priority of this? I'll do it, if it helps. We'd really like to start sending load to errormill.
Oh, is it ready? What do we need to do other than add raven?
Add Raven, get NetOps to open flows, and get IT to add settings to each environment. Done!
Sounds like a 1pt. Pull request for adding raven has been sent.

Do we have the URLs for RAVEN_CONFIG so I can start testing locally?

Actually, I won't have the "open flow" from localhost. I guess we'll have to test from -dev/-stage.
You can install Sentry locally, it's pretty easy to get it working.

That's how I've always done local testing.
IT bug for network flows: Bug 816955
I'm working on adding users for the team.
