Steps to reproduce:

When dragging a url from the address bar to bookmarks, then to a folder in bookmarks, the entire bookmarks menu goes away, making it impossible to make a bookmark in a folder using that method.

I hit this on Mac too, trying to drag the proxy icon into a folder on my bookmarks toolbar. I have to drag really fast to keep the menu from closing.
Works for me with 2013-08-25-03-02-01-mozilla-central-firefox-26.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64, unless you mean moving the icon outside the menu (bug 670455).
