User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.162 Safari/535.19

Steps to reproduce:

Upgraded from TB 12.0 to 12.0.1. Lightning 1.4 was not working, so we uninstalled the extension and tried to reinstall Lightning 1.4 addon. Tried installing addon via the TB manager and manually installing from .XPI file. Same results.

Actual results:

Reinstall fails with a hung script message, "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: resource:///modules/XPIProvider.jsm:195"

Also checked the extensions.log file:

Expected results:

The addon should have installed without issue.

Had to recreate profile in order to finally install lightning module.

Thinking that perhaps the original lightning upgrade died and did not clear an appropriate flag in XPI module.
