We change versions every few weeks, and it’s confusing for developers (and me) to figure out. So, let’s make it a bit simpler.

We're going to add the channel (Current, Beta, Nightly, Aurora, etc) to Firefox add-ons.

It would be nice if it worked for Thunderbird + Seamonkey, but only if it’s really easy. The less manual work ever 6 weeks, the more likely we’ll be to update it properly.

We also need a way to keep the channels up to date. It would be great if it was automated, but I can live with a simple admin tool.

Bonus: Split up Firefox/Thunderbird/etc using an <optgroup>, and only show apps that are relevant (so, don't show Thunderbird and Seamonkey if it's a Fx-only add-on)
