Linux sea 2001040608

-start mozilla
-start mailnews
-in mailnews: select File / Quit on the menuline.

Result: Nothing

(Ctrl+Q works fine)
hmm seems Mailnews file-menu is slightly horked all over:

File -> New -> Navigator Window: does nothing
File -> Close:  Quits all
R.K.Aa: both those two things works fine for me!
Both works also fine for me.

But I´m using win2k / build 20010407.. (CVS)
Hmm. Here they also fail in a fresh CVS build. How odd.
I'm using an old profile though.
in case it's theme related: using modern theme.
and i'm using alternate 3-pane.
Seems there are differences in how menu's work in default and alternate 3-pane -
there's also bug 75038.

After trying to use File/Quit from menu in mailnews (without success) i believe
moz will always crash instead of shutting down clean when i use File/Quit from
the browser. I get that "139" msg. in console.

The missing quit in mail is 100% consistant - happens every time.
Close acting as a Quit is intermittent.
modifying summary to reflect this happens only in alternate 3-pane
Summary: File->Quit from menuline doesn't work in MailNews → File->Quit from menuline doesn't work w alternate 3-pane
same on Win 2000. Can do File->Exit

putterman: You mean you can NOT do File->Exit, right?
If so, bug 75548 is a dup.
*** Bug 75548 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
yep, i see this too.
Looks like Blake's fix to bug 75447 will fix this too. It just tried it after
applying his patch. It fixes it.
