In Bug 728041, it was noted that the phone image at http://paulrouget.com/mwc-demos/apis/ can disappear altogether on a Galaxy Nexus.

I've made a simpler version of this page at http://people.mozilla.org/~ajuma/phoneicon/

On this version, the phone image (which should be near the bottom of the page) doesn't appear on a Galaxy Nexus, but can be made to appear by zooming all the way in (and panning to the bottom of the page). Zooming out, or panning so that the position of the image is near the bottom edge of the page, cause the image to disappear again. On a Nexus S, the image appears when we pan to the bottom of the page (no zooming required), but again disappears if we pan up so that the image is near the bottom edge of the page.

The problem does not occur if the rotation angle for the image is hard-coded rather than set dynamically.

Unless we have reason to believe this is a symptom of a more widespread issue, I don't think this should block beta, but we should probably make this block release pending further investigation.
