User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 Build ID: 20120420145725 Steps to reproduce: typed in my username (email address) and saved password. thunderbird says it is an incorrect username. 1) I am trying to report a bug: New Message window (above Taskbar) stays open indefinitely, rather than closing in ~5 seconds. 2) why is thunderbird not recognizing my username and/or password to report a bug? 3) when selecting text and changing the text size in composition window, upon resuming typing, the text size reverts to the previous size. Expectation is that it would be the new size.

The login issue ( to report Thunderbird bugs) has apparently been resolved. The site now accepts my name and pw.
However, issues 1 and 3 stil remain. 1)New Message window stays open indefinitely, rather than closing in ~5 seconds. 3)When selecting text and changing the text size in composition window, upon resuming typing, the text size reverts to the previous size. Expectation is that it would be the new size.
Correction: Login (to https://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/users/login) is still rejected. "Please enter a correct username and password. Note that both fields are case-sensitive." Please advise.

It's POP. But I've got better way (Mibbit) to enter TB bugs and usability recommendations. So I don't use that method anymore.
I am able to enter and use my Thunderbird email account on my PC, but cannot do so on my laptoop -- same unsername and password in both instances. I know I should be able to enter my email account on any computer.

This problem was reported several years ago. I have since used Mibbit to report bugs. And the text problems in Tbird composition window still remain.
