I'm assuming you guys already know a few of these issues, but I figured I'd file anyway:

* The arrows are reversed -- the arrow should be up (or sideways) when it's closed, and down when it's open. Arrows like that show the current state, not the action that will happen when clicked.

* When the arrow is pointing up, the shadow is backward and it looks like it's popping out of the page rather than being inset into the page.

* The icon is tiny, way off to the right and unintuitive. We can leave the arrow, but we should make the whole first paragraph clickable and there should be a link at the end of it that says "Read more..."

All that being said, I'm not convinced we should be collapsing the description on desktop. Descriptions tend to have important information in them, and we don't want people cramming a ton of stuff into the first paragraph.

Should we also do this when you try collapsing the description after it's been expanded?
Yeah
