RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 751871

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:15.0) Gecko/15.0 Firefox/15.0a1 SeaMonkey/2.12a1
Build ID: 20120503003035

Steps to reproduce:

The May 4, 2012 Seamonkey Nightly Build will not successfully start. I had a build from 04/27/12, I believe, on this particular system prior to downloading the current Nightly, and it worked fine.

Actual results:

This build from May 4, 2012, would not work at all and repeatedly crashed. I ran Iceape briefly to download the full build, tried again, and got the same results. Then I went back to the trunk, picked up the May 3, 2012 build, tried it instead, and it worked fine, as it usually does.

Expected results:

The browser should invoke and work properly without repeatedly failing.
This can, as I noted, be repeatedly reproduced. I am using a Linux 3.3.1 kernel. Earlier builds worked fine, including builds from 04/27/12 and 05/03/12 on this system, and on another system, the previous day's build also worked fine. This is an unusual failure; this does not usually happen; most builds have been exceptionally stable and have performed very well.
See Bug 751871 - After upgrade refuses to start - crashes with "Terminate called without an active exception" in terminal.
