Steps to reproduce:

log onto facebook. Chat with people . Had enough of facebook. Close the facebook tab altogether. Open new tabs . Go to other sites. people continue chatting with me on facebook. firefox keeps making facebook chat pop. close firefox. reopen firefox. start on homepage. never even opened facebook. Chat still running somehow and continue to hear pop.


Actual results:

Nothing. annoying. people think i am online while i am not


Expected results:

should have stopped the facebook tab. probably appears closed but in reality process is still running. Need to kill it/javascript when close facebook tab page

Hello,

I just found your 2 years old bug report and after some testing, i think this was solved with new Version of FF (I think it was in version 15)
can you please confirm this also from your site?
if this is still a problem for your, please give us some details on it.
