"Create new dep builds on comm-central revision <n>" doesn't work

I've tried a few times now to create complete new dep builds for a revision by filling the box in on the self-serve API:
https://secure.pub.build.mozilla.org/buildapi/self-serve/comm-central/rev/a0df19ed338c
In all cases, this returned similar text to:

but builds failed to be triggered.

I believe this is now working. Not sure what fixed this.
