Crash Data

I'm pretty confident to having reported such a bug before, but can't find a list of these entering the error message in the Search form of Bugzilla. Huh?!?

For this reason, I'm filing a new bug instead of amending another.
There's only one exploitable crash: bp-bb946186-4bab-4db8-a3a8-9ad452120505.
Does it happen in Safe Mode (see http://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe%20Mode)?

It's #2 top browser crasher in 14.0b8 on Mac OS X.
It's probably the new form of bug 654196 or bug 719114.

CCing some members of the crash-kill team. Can we get some add-on correlations here? Thanks!
Keywords: qawanted
I've pointed this bug out to the crashkill team in IRC and we will hopefully get some correlations soon.
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?signature=XPC_WN_NoHelper_Trace&version=Firefox%3A14.0b10 says this is quite low volume recently. On 14.0b10 it's #209 on the topcrash list, we don't produce any correlations for bugs that low on the list right now.
It's #9 top crasher in 14.0b10 on Mac OS X.
Manual checking shows it's correlated to OnePassword 3.9.4 or 3.9.4b1 (onepassword@agilebits.com).

On, on OS X specifically, I looked at the total and there it's quite low in comparison, sure.

> Manual checking shows it's correlated to OnePassword 3.9.4 or 3.9.4b1
> (onepassword@agilebits.com).

"Manual" meaning that you looked through all the reports yourself? (Makes sense, as they aren't too many in the end.) If so, thanks a lot for that!
I don't think this as an urgent bug for release, but I'm including khad@agilebits.com (apologies if you're not the right contact) to see if there were any obvious changes that could have caused this crash signature in 1Password 3.9.4, or what exactly the add-on may have been doing at the time to trigger this crash.
Now there are enough crashes (#4 top browser crasher on Mac), here are automatic correlations:
XPC_WN_NoHelper_Trace|EXC_BAD_ACCESS / 0x0000000d (11 crashes)
     73% (8/11) vs. 5% (26/540) {a0d7ccb3-214d-498b-b4aa-0e8fda9a7bf7} (WOT, https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/3456) (20120515)
     64% (7/11) vs. 2% (11/540) onepassword@agilebits.com
         36% (4/11) vs. 1% (7/540) 3.9.4
         27% (3/11) vs. 1% (4/540) 3.9.4.b1
Thanks for pinging me on this. Offhand, I can't think of any known issues we have seen reported by our users. I've notified the developers of this issue so they can review it when they are able. Let me know if there is anything I can help with (as a non-dev) from a QA perspective in the meantime.
I am not sure what could be causing this crash. The current version of the extension is packaged with an older version of Add-on SDK. We'll repackage 1Password extension, hopefully that will make a difference.
Could anyone direct me to a free version of the 1Password 3.9.4 version, so that we could try to reproduce this?
I've only found the 3.8.19 version available after searching on Mac.
Extensions are now distributed separately from the main app:
https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html

This extension will work with 1Password.app v3.8.
There's only one crash on Mac OS X in 14.0b11: bp-addef52c-c821-4528-a7f5-013b12120710.

Thanks. Attempted to reproduce with this extension in Beta 11 with no luck. Also installed WOT add-on, stored some passwords using the extension, logged out/in, removed passwords as suggested in some comments. No success in reproducing.

Given that, untracking for FF14.
Removing qawanted for the moment as there is not much to do here now that crash-stats shows an improvement in crash reports.

I see that 14.0b11 might have fixed this issue already but I wanted to add that we just released a new beta that includes a newer version of the Addon SDK. It's available from this page (be sure to click the Allow betas checkbox):

https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html

The new beta uses version 1.8 of the Addon SDK whereas the previous versions used 1.6. If the crash persists, please try the beta and see if the newer SDK helps.
It's #5 top browser crasher in 16.0b5 on Mac OS X and is correlated to ABP this time:
  XPC_WN_NoHelper_Trace|EXC_BAD_ACCESS / 0x0000000d (11 crashes)
    100% (11/11) vs. 21% (96/458) {d10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d} (Adblock Plus, https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/1865)

This crash is not a new regression in our most recent beta - it's prevalent in many FF16 betas, and we've seen it in past versions of Firefox. For that reason, we don't feel this is a critical bug for release.

That being said, we should follow up with QA testing to see if we can reproduce against URLs.
Assigning to Juan to test with the above URLs using ABP on OS X.

I've spent an hour trying the URLs in comment #22, using functionality in facebook, flightradar24.com, gmail, youtube, yahoo, google.com/maps, with ABP (and fiddled with its settings), but I haven't been able to crash yet.
This is currently #50 on 17.0b1, for now I'm removing this from the topcrash list.

Removing QAwanted since QA can't reproduce this issue locally. Please re-add it if you have more details about how it can be reproduced.

I just wanted to say that I am unaware of an extension by the name of "1 Password" or similar, and do not have such an extension installed.
Number 15 topcrash in fx24 and in one case reported on sumo (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/971689) associated with Norton toolbar issue
a_geek, do you still see this crash?

crash-stats indicates medium to high exploitability

I sampled several crashes and all indicate IsGarbageCollecting. For example
