Maybe you're already on this, but the procedure for obtaining commit access is detailed here: http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/committer/. 

For level 1, that's essentially: you'll need to submit a form per http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/notification/, attach your SSH pubkey here, and get a voucher to comment in this bug.

Sure, but it'll eventually need to make it to Erica so that she can add it to the magical form filing system. You can email it to her.

Dale is still getting 

  $ ssh hg.mozilla.org
  Permission denied (publickey,keyboard-interactive).

The last few L1 access bugs I followed, IT forgot to set some bit, and that caused this error.  Can you please check that everything is set up correctly on your end?

this was my bad, using the wrong username, fixed now
