Right now, we let people change their icon on Marketplace. We should make it very clear that doing so doesn't change their actual app icon. It makes technological sense why it doesn't (the webapp uses the manifest to install, not the Marketplace listing), however a lot of people have been confused by this (via support emails).
What do you want the interaction/warning to look like?
