1. install multi locale native fennec
2. switch android OS language to Japanese
3. launch and go to awesome page

Expected: grey text in urlbar will be all in one line 
Actual: い is on the second line for the URL bar

This depends on the device screen size.
Which device and how much width of screen are you using?

Anyway, I'll think about shorter text for this and comment here later again.

And this is localizability bug of Firefox, not ja l10n only problem.
Firefox should use ellipsis for the text field.

I cannot reproduce this bug with latest nightly build on my device.
(My device is Xperia arc: Sony ICS build)

Odd, I thought I placed the device on here.  It does have to do with the device screen size.

If you would like faster attention from me from a bug, please use the need additional information flag.

I will try to retest either tomorrow or monday.

Sorry, been busy with b2g.  I thought I would get to it, but there was some other things that kept me.

I don't have the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on me to test with.  I believe I used that originally.  I'll try testing when I get home.

Can we just shorten the label to "検索語句か URL を入力" ?

BTW, on the desktop Firefox, the label shown on the location bar is "URL を入力します".

I thought it was the galaxy nexus, but it was not.  I'll have to search for the right device.

Found the right device.  It's on the Nexus S.

This still does occur.
