Approve apps that need off origin access
Just a tracking bug for an apps that need to be able to load pages in app from non-origin urls. Common use cases are: 1) Https for login and http for the rest of the app 2) Separate sub hosts used for different parts of the app.
https://marketplace.mozilla.org/app/conclave/ -uses https for login
https://marketplace.mozilla.org/app/cultures-online/ from developer: "The problem is that we have a centralized registration process, meaning that for all of our games, registrations run through the same server/origin. The browser games, on the other hand, each have their own origin. While it would be theoretically possible to set up a new registration page on the game origin, this is effectively no feasible, because a) this server is maintained by the game developer, not us (the game publisher) and b) the trouble of doing so frankly wouldn't be worth the effort for us."
Let's track this in bug 752666 along with comments on this issue there - there's sizable discussion there (I'd like to avoid having two bugs tracking the same thing).

Amending summary to reflect this is a bug for something we (as in Marketplace reviewers) need to do once bug 752666 is resolved. It won't happen automatically when it is.

FYI - the prerequiste bug has landed such that only target=_blank will open up in browser, all others will open in app. It's verified as well. You should be good to re-review apps for this issue. Generally as a note - I've flagged bugs with appreview-blocker in the whiteboard if a bug is blocking a review. Right now, there's two bugs: - Flash not starting up, which blocks Bundlr and Multiplayer Piano - WebGL failing on certain windows machines Let me know if there are any others that app reviews are blocked by.
I've approved all outstanding apps that were blocked on this bug (most were tagged with bug 752666 instead), so closing.
