User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0 Build ID: 20120312181643 Steps to reproduce: in about:config I want to change the value of mail.server.serverX.timeout (X=number of server) to another value. Actual results: The parameter switches back to the value 29 after a short while. Expected results: The parameter should stay at the changed value.

What values are you changing it to bigger than 30 or lower than 29 ? Does this also occurs if you use thunderbird with addons disabled ?
I am changing it to a value bigger than 29. It also happens without any addons enabled.
Per comments 1 and 2, this bug is the same as bug 546965
