Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:10.0.4) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.4 Build ID: 20120420145309 Steps to reproduce: I deployed firefox ESR 10.0.3 via GPO. So far - so good. I used the ESR-version with the hope, that the update within the version ESR 10 would not demand admin rights. Actual results: For the Update to firefox ESR 10.0.4 firefox demands admin rights - with the Users don´t have... Expected results: The Update should not demand admin-rights within one version. What is to be done to avoid having to deploy each litle Update via GPO. I have tried to give reg-rights - but so far to no avail.

For limited user accounts trying to update a Program Files directory, this will actually land once bug 711475 is done.
