+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #631910 +++

Mozillabuild 1.6 attempted to fix bug 686837, but the VS2011 batch files weren't included because of bug 712841. We should spin a 1.6.1 that includes that change. (It's the only thing that has landed in the repo since then.)

...I'll spin a build after I get a new VMWare Fusion license, because the old version I have isn't compatible with OS X 10.7.

Cool. The changes are minimal, so as long as you're happy with the VC2012 changes then we're probably good to go. I'll get someone to put this on FTP and officially release it.
