See also bug 748478. It would be good to get a 64bit Mac OSX VM for NSS testing, too.

Per IRC, we'll work on this when a bit of the sjc1-evac dust has settled. I think this will required: - 10.6 server license - 10.6 media, perhaps physical - which will be fun since parallels{2,3} don't have DVD slots

So I *think* I have a working license code, and I'm copying media to parallels2 as we speak.

OK, neither the 10.6 Server nor the 10.6 Retail ISOs do anything but a black screen.

Hm, and none of the parallels support options seem to cover server. I may need some help here -- phong?

As stated on irc, parallels require the physical media to install OSX.

OK, install is done. Kai, this has the same login creds as nss-vm-darwin9-1.

Thanks, what's the name of the new VM? Is it nss-vm-darwin9-2 ? I will login shortly, I will need XCode on this one, too.

Sorry, that would be useful information, no? It's nss-vm-darwin10-1.community.scl3.mozilla.com. I plumb forgot about XCode. I'll get that on there.

Thanks. Ok, I could login, I had to use username administrator with a lowercase a (uppercase failed).

For the record, XCode 3.2.6 has SDKs with expired certs in it, so I had to set the system time back a year to install it. XCode is installed. VNC is enabled with a password I can share with you out of band.

Thank you very much. Regarding RAM: If your host system has sufficient memory, might it be possible to give 2 GB RAM to this VM? Regarding VNC: I logged in to the system once, from an OSX machine, and set my own VNC password (the same that I had used on the other darwin9 machine). If you prefer that we use the VNC password that you have on file, please send me an encrypted email with the new VNC password, and I'll change it on both mac machines.

I updated the RAM. For the passwords, probably best for you to send me the password you've used on the other node (gpg key 7F0D15B1), and I'll fix the one I reset, and put your password in our records.
