User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 Build ID: 20120420145725 Steps to reproduce: I didn't do anything in particular. I just upload videos in my Youtube channel as usual: http://www.youtube.com/user/MrJoeyBreeze?feature=mhee Actual results: Since yesterday o maybe the day before, the video highlighted on the home page of my Youtube channel is just black. There is no picture shown, no play button, nothing happens when clicking. It just doesn't work. But clicking on the video link takes the user to the video page and there the video does work. It's just something going on at the home page. Expected results: I checked the home page is normal in Chrome, Opera, Explorer and Safari, so it should be also normal in Firefox, which is not.
WFM (works for me) on XP SP3 using 12.0 Flash version 11.2.202.233 Have you tried Firefox safe mode ? Could be an addon, or maybe Hardware Acceleration. Safe mode turns off HWA and your addons. If it works in safe-mode, start disabling addons until you find the culprit.
Thanks for your suggestion, Jim. I restarted Firefox with all add-ons and plugins disabled and the problem is still there. I even made sure to uncheck the box "Use hardware acceleration when available", but to no avail. I can't figure out what on earth is going on, because I didn't install anything in the last few days, so I tend to think that maybe Youtube updated something that Firefox seems to be incompatible with. Pure speculation.
SOLVED. Whatever was going on, it's now working. Thank you all for your attention.
