Steps to reproduce:
When I purge the cache - to make the 2 computers run better – with McAfee Navigation / Quick Clean, compared the summary number of items cleaned between Firefox & IE.
Actual results:
The desktop almost never lists Firefox, with any items to clean. Instead the desktop always lists IE with items to clean. The laptop - with no mail program activated - always lists Firefox items cleaned, with few IE items cleaned.
Expected results:
The items cleaned should behave the same between PC systems: Firefox is always used, IE never is used.
Has the desktop Firefox been compromised?

You should contact McAfee. This looks like a bug in that software.
