Not sure if this is an expected Android behavior, but clicking the back button when on the first page of the session takes you to the Android home screen (surprising and jarring to me). I'm using a Droid Razr running Android 2.3
Yes, this is standard behavior for all Android apps (including the default browser). Android uses the back button for navigation between apps as well as within them.
