755786 - Have to close a tab twice to actually get it to close

Web page or screen you were on when you saw the issue: 

Firefox Mobile Beta Build
Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Steps to reproduce:
1. Several tabs are open
2. I click on the plus tab to see my open tabs.
3. I click on the x beside a tab to close it. It highlights as if I've clicked on it. It makes the click noise. 
4. But when I go back, I have to click the x again. This time it closes.
5. This has happened three times, so I think it's not me. :)

Are you accidentally selecting the tab instead of hitting the "x" target? If so, this is a dupe of bug 717299.

I don't think so. I was hitting the x - that's not to say I wasn't accidentally hitting the tab and not knowing it. But after the first time, I tried to make sure I was hitting the x

Are you able to reproduce by trying to close an unselected tab? That way, if you're accidentally selecting the tab, we'll know because the tab will switch.

Then they were not selected tabs. The tab didn't switch.

Attachment: log w/ problem closing tab

I think I may have run into this bug this morning, but the tab never closed after I tried multiple times. Looking at my log, the only suspicious thing I see is the DOMContentLoaded handler thread problem that I just fixed in bug 732901. However, I'm not quite sure exactly how that could cause this tab not closing issue.

(As an aside, that exception was caught by GeckoApp, so I'm not sure if that's what actually caused the crash in bug 732901.)
