Bumping up to critical, as this is a test env., against which QA still has running automation.

:rrosario - i just manually ran an update on the dev environment for you and everything appeared to be up to date. can you please explain what you're seeing out of date so i can investigate further?

It looks up to date now. Maybe the processes weren't restarting properly or something? I'll keep an eye on it and make sure it stays up to date. Thanks!

:rrosario - thnx for the update. i poked around in the logs and didn't see any evidence that the updates were previously failing. do keep me posted if this appears to start falling behind up on updates again.

Our sumo.fft automation started failing in the same test that sumo.release has had for 4+ days (which was what prompted us to file this bug, as it was weird that dev would pass with the same codebase and tests as release), which is a pretty good indicator that it's fixed, now, so verified :-)
Would be nice, though, to know what happened here -- no stuck locks, or anything?

:stephend - after poking around, i didn't see anything out of the ordinary before and after manually pushing the update.
