Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:14.0) Gecko/14.0 Firefox/14.0
Build ID: 20120510163828

Steps to reproduce:

i surfed withe firefox mobile beta version

Actual results:

the firefox mobile beta version took a lot of place for using datas on my mobilephone-memory. So my phone says " I dont have any memory!". Could you make firefox save datas on Sd-Card?

Expected results:

the using datas shuld be save on sd card
You can move Firefox to the SD card using the Android Application management screen. This will move all the application files to the SD card. The user profile will stay on the phone data for security.

from the Android home screen press the menu button > settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Firefox beta > Move to SD card button

Good to get some user feedback on these things. If you can report some numbers (Android Settings->Applications->Firefox Beta has some numbers on how much storage we're using), they'll be useful.

We may need a split profile eventually with things like History, FormHistory, and Bookmarks in an insecure location, and passwords in a more secure one.

But that's non-trivial and will probably have to wait till at least next release.

I did move Firefox to the SD card unmediateley after downloading und installing.
And after that the problem occurs.

Here my applikations storage usage numbers:
Storage:
(Firefoix is moved to the SD card!!!)
ALL: 7,07 MB

APP: 1,50 MB
Datas: 5,57 MB

Cache: 0,0 B

If I erase the datas,
then the storage of my phone will be growing exactly with the data MBs...
