+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #756253 +++ In bug 756253 comment 1 Matej reported a font inflation issue that I'm breaking out into its own bug. STR: 1) Load kijiji.ca (if necessary, decline the offer of a mobile site) 2) Yellow notification box in content "Welcome to kijiji, we have matched..." is over-inflated. Screenshot attached

This sort of thing should have been fixed by bug 707855. Need to figure out why it wasn't.

I think you only get that particular popup if your IP address is geolocated to Canada. So I'd need a testcase. That said, are you sure it's *over*-inflated? That is, are you sure that's bigger than the text size chosen in preferences that content is normally inflated to? (i.e., are you sure it's not just the contrast with the uninflated text?)

(In reply to David Baron [:dbaron] from comment #2) > That said, are you sure it's *over*-inflated? That is, are you sure that's > bigger than the text size chosen in preferences that content is normally > inflated to? (i.e., are you sure it's not just the contrast with the > uninflated text?) I am sure of nothing! I called it overinflated because it's spilling out of its yellow box, but I don't want to presume root causes.

We need to raise the bar on font inflation issues that we'll take fixes for. The STR in this bug includes declining the Mobile version of the site. Re-nomming for a blocking-

[qawanted] We can't seem to get the STR HTML served to us in California. Can we get a Canadian to post up the HTML served to your computer (using a Fennec UA string?)

dbaron - is this a dupe of a bug tracking the newer implementation of font inflation? This won't block release, but I'd like to track if there's a one-off fix we can take here in support of Canada.
