User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 Build ID: 20120420145725 Steps to reproduce: One of my RSS feeds stopped showing any new messages, even though going to the feed URL in Firefox shows they are being added. So I unsubscribed (by deleting the folder the feed was going to, then Emptying Trash) and tried to re-subscribe. Result: I'm not allowed to. All attempts fail with a pop-up saying "You already have a subscription for this feed." Of course the subscribe dialog box has no search capability, so it's impossible to tell if TB moved the subscription somewhere stupid instead of deleting it like I told it to.
Summary: feed subscription → Can't subscribe to RSS feed, "You already have it"
Component: General → Feed Reader
Product: Thunderbird → MailNews Core
QA Contact: general → feed.reader
Whiteboard: [dupeme]
please post the url and attach your feeds.rdf, in [profile]\Mail\Feeds[-1|-2..]. due to resyncs in Tb12, url that erroneously weren't visible before may now be accessible, so it's possible the url is, in fact, subscribed in another folder.

I'm not going to publish my list of sites by complying. But the domain name is not found by searching in any *.rdf file under [profile]\Mail or its subfolders.

incomplete means incomplete. do not reopen this. regardless, be assured no one will look at it. the problem is specific to your profile and an old and likely corrupt db from before the major feeds renovation. export the feeds and import them into a new clean account.
