757066 - Sync: Phone says setup incomplete, desktop says it worked

Trying to set up sync on beta 2 so it syncs with Nightly. 

1. Go to fennec start page and click link to set up sync.
2. Page opens with code 
3. Open desktop sync "pair my device page"
4. enter code from mobile on to desktop page
5. wait for sync 
6. Mobile says sync unable to be completed
7. Desktop says sync is complete

If sync is not complete, I would expect both devices to tell me so instead of two contradictory messages. 

Two bugs here:
1) Cannot set up sync
2) Contradictory messaging on different devices

Guess we need to get something into desktop sync for this error case?

We explicitly do not support syncing of more than one Native Android client. https://wiki.mozilla.org/User:Anaaktgeboren/NativeSync#Android_Sync_behavior_with_multiple_Firefox_versions_installed

Perhaps. I'd much rather find a way to support the scenario than add special-purpose lipstick for this pig!
