Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 SeaMonkey/1.1.11 Build ID: 2008070216 Steps to reproduce: Before it was just the Japanese box that would appear telling me that I needed to install it or whatever. I used to just click o.k and move on. Now I've got to go through Japanese, Chinese simplified and Chinese original before I can move on. I've tried to download these "packages" to see if I can get rid of these annoying boxes even though I do not want the languages. Actual results: Unable to download language packages to see if that will get rid of the pop ups. Expected results: I was hoping this would cure the problem.
Do you have an example page ?
Try this: Edit->Preferences->Browser->Languages Delete all listed languages except for English.
Hi Johnny, do you still see this problem?

Support request, no answer, ... I close this one for now. @Reporter: Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you still can reproduce the problem with a current SeaMonkey version and a current OS and if you can contribute a step by step instruction due to <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines> (containing every key press and every mouse click) how to reproduce the problem reliably.
