(Whiteboard: [PR1], works for POP3 but IMAP)
Using jun03 builds on NT 4.0, Linux rh5.2 and Mac OS 8.51 Replying in seamonkey to a messsage which has a reply-to header set doesn't work; the original sender is listed as reply recipient in the (reply)compose window. 1. Send a message to seamonkey user from 4.x indicating Reply-to field other than you/the sender. 2. Launch seamonkey to messenger. Get your messages. Select the message sent in step #1. 3. Click Reply or use menu item Message|Reply. Result: Compose window opens with the sender as reply recipient in To: field.
RE: Linux build (199906-10-13 m7) Compose window opens with NO reply recipient in the To: field. This does not occur on Win32. Will check Mac later.

Can't tell from comments dated 6/10 if Win32 was working, so I re-checkd this using build 1999080409 on win95, build 19990803 on linux and this is still a problem. Still checking the mac. This should be in the Release Notes since, in this case, the seamonkey user would have no idea the sender wanted the reply to go to a different address. Note: when testing this, make sure your Email address: and Reply to address: are different in the Identity preference in the 4.x app you are using to send the message. As stated in the scenario, you should see the Reply to email address in the To: field when you reply to this message.
I think this needs to be fixed for PR1, so I added a note in the Status Whiteboard

Fixed for POP. reply to an IMAP message won't honore the reply-to as IMAP still using old quoting which doesn't let us to get the reply-to headers.

IMAP is fixed too.
Generally OK using 1999092708m11 on linux 6.0, NT 4.0 and Mac OS 8.51. OK IMAP and POP and when Reply-All used on news posting with Replyto set (not to be confused with replying to the newsgroup using Followup-to). Any specific problems with reply to will be logged as separate issues.
