Open this page, and reload it several times. After 2/3 times the page appears 
blank.

I cannot test this because bubblegum is inside intranet but this could be
the same problem that I am having at bug 75537?

I've had a similar problem with pages linked from mail messages (at least, I
think that's the common thread.)  I've gotten some pages where the <h1> item
shows up, but none of the remainder of the page.  I don't know if it's related,
but after rebooting my NT box it started working again...

I'm wondering if the dummy request fix may have regressed something with reflows
so we don't actually do the final paint sometimes.  (A view source shows that
the content was downloaded even though it's not visible.)

The link to bug 75537 is interesting and that bug points back at bug 74221.  I
think these are all related.

I tested this on todays builds on linux and mac but cant reproduce it, but on 
windows 98 it happens all the time. It takes serveral reloads, first time it 
might take around 10, but then it reliably fails on the third reload.

i see this quite often on a dual processor linux box.  it's definitely a bug
in http w.r.t. handling 304's.   neeti: i'll take this.. i was just working
on a solution ;-)
