On install of a web app with Japanese Characters, the doorhanger garbles the Japanese characters

Details
Steps:
1. Go to http://ed.agadak.net/app/
2. Install Ed's application
Expected:
The Japanese characters should be shown in the doorhanger.
Actual:
The text for the Japanese characters is garbled.
Additional Notes:
This issue has only been seen on Windows XP so far. Does not reproduce on Win 7 or OS X 10.7.

Gen - Can you help find someone from the Mozilla Japan office to test this on a japanese build of firefox nightly on Win XP? Want to make sure this isn't a bug on our end (according to Felipe - It isn't, but would like to confirm).
