Build: 2001-03-26 FizzillaCFM Steps to reproduce: 1) Locate an HTML document that is listed as Type: HTML in Finder Get Info. (There are lots of these in the subdirectories of /Developer/Documentation/.) 2a) Drag the document onto Mozilla's icon. or 2b) Use Get Info in Finder. 3) Choose "Application" from the "Show" pop-up menu in the Get Info window. 4) Click the "Change Application..." button. 5) Locate Mozilla Actual results: Mozilla's icon doesn't highlight (unless command and option key are held down) when an HTML file is dragged onto it. Mozilla's icon is dimmed when attempting to register Mozilla as the generic handler of HTML files. Expected results: Expected Mozilla to advertise HTML file type support to Finder.
Should we add 'HTML' to the BNDL?
It may be best to add a 'plst' 0 resource. For apps that are not a bundle, this is used instead of the Info.plist file. It lets you specify document types by extension or type code. See TN 2013 at http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2013.html

I can now drop HTML documents onto the Mozilla icon in Finder. I can also set Mozilla to be the default app for HTML. However, dropping onto the Mozilla Dock icon still doesn't work for me. Does it work for anyone else?
