STR: Click the Tab Number. Click the "+" to open a new tab. Type "about:sync" Hit the "Go" button on the keyboard. Observed behaviour: The error page shows up, and the spinner spins seemingly forever. Expected behaviour: The error page shows up, and the spinner changes to a warning icon.
Oddly about:sync isn't a valid address for me. Ran into this though some testing prior and :mfinkle noted that errors or missing pages (adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.VIEW -n org.mozilla.fennec/.App -d file://mnt/sdcard/pagethatdoesntexist.html) don't get notified a stop notification
Me either (thus the error page). :) Ian Barlow replicated it with several invalid pages, so your explanation seems reasonable. Thanks, Blake.
