Could it be related to the discussion at http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=545053 especially the last comment ?

No it is not. The thread refers to the file size being shown as -1, while if you see the screenshot attached, the file size gets displayed with an large -ve number. I suspect it is caused by an overflow when the content size is too large. I do not have a large file to test today to check if has been fixed or not. I will perform the test once again using the latest stable version when I have a large file to download, and post again if the issue has been resolved or not.
When you had this problem, were you using the extension "Video Download Helper"? Do you still have this issue?

Resolved-Incomplete due to time since last communication/update by reporter. Please feel free to reopen if the error occurs in a current Firefox version.
