Build ID: 20120423122843

Steps to reproduce:

Added Lightning 1.4 to Thunderbird 12.0.1 after a fresh installation of Linux Mint 12 lisa (gnome). Before this installation I had both working great on the same LM 12 Lisa.

Actual results:

Thunderbird got less responsive. The whole system started to freeze every few seconds due to 100 cpu usage. Every click needs a min or so to execute.

Expected results:

I was hoping they would work well. I would be able to work both with TB and Lightning smoothly. It is slow to an extent that i do not think they are compatible any longer. Other versions also do not work as they seem to be specific to a version of TB. Could someone plz plz fix this problem. It is causing a lot of inconvenience
What types of calendars are you using (local storage calendars on your computer, .ics files, Google Calendars subscribed to using the Provider for Google Calendar extension, network CalDAV calendars, etc.)?

Is the cache setting enabled on any of the calendars, and does changing that make any difference (You can change this in the Edit Calendar dialog opened by double-clicking on the calendar's name in the calendar list)?
None, I do not have google calender or any other network calender linked to lightning. I have added a couple calenders manually for personal appointments. Both these are limited to my system.
