Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; 0.8.1) Gecko/20010323 BuildID: 2001032319 Mozilla works good and fast for a few days, and suddenly the bookmark file changes from the original 350K size to 25MB! After restarting mozilla, the bookmarks now are 50MB big and after an other restart, the file increases up to 100MB so that Mozilla now uses 130MB of RAM... I can't open the bookmark file with a text editor, it then crashes windows 2000 and reboot automatically (never happen it to me with an other software). Even when I choose export bookmarks, the file size stays the same. The only solution is to delete the file and replaces it with an older copy and loosing all recent additions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Copy bookmark file in the profile directory 2.Surf around for a few days 3.And as soon as mozilla seems to work very slowely, look at the bookmark file size
please zip your bookmarks file and attach it (as application/zip) to the older bug, thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 73873 ***
