Although Tbird successfully downloads mail from GoDaddy servers, it doesn't clean out the mailbox (as Outlook does), so I have to sign on to GoDaddy mail periodically to clean out the box manually.

Steps to reproduce:

Download mail from GoDaddy mail server.

Actual results:

E-Mail downloads successfully every time... however the mail that is downloaded also remains on the GoDaddy server. When I used Outlook, the downloaded mail would be cleaned out of the GoDaddy server mailbox. Tbird is much better than Outlook... but I have to sign on to GoDaddy mail to manually clean out my mailboxes.

Expected results:

Mail should download from GoDaddy server to Tbird on my PC. It does. After downloading, the GoDaddy mailbox should be empty. It isn't.

Have you left the option "Leave messages on server" enabled?
It is in Tools -> Account settings -> Server settings.
