Details

Go to msn.com on fennec native. On Fennec native, you will see a basic HTML mobile site rendered that is usable. On IPhone, you will see a mobile optimized site rendered with slideshows. UA sniffing is evident.

Note - Chrome for Android also gets the basic HTML site seen on fennec native.

Now all (Chrome, Stock Browser and Dolphin Browsers) get the mobile optimized site rendered with slideshows extreme.mobile.msn.com

Firefox Native beta 17.0b1 build 2 gets the basic HTML mobile site.

Weird - both Firefox on Android UA and iPhone UA now redirects to http://home.mobile.msn.com/en-us/404.html for me. On the other laptop, however, the two UAs load pretty similar-looking sites. On that basis, I resolve this as WFM - but Karl, could you verify, just because I got a bit confused and the site is high-pri?

I'm redirected to…

On Firefox for Android
http://home.mobile.msn.com/en-us/defaults.aspx (not localized, mobile site)

On Safari for iPod Touch
http://t.fr.msn.com/ (geoip localized, mobile site with windows metro style design)

On Firefox OS for ZTE + UA override
http://t.msn.com/ (geoip localized, mobile site, same UX than Safari iPod Touch)

On Firefox OS for ZTE - UA override
http://ca.msn.com/?rd=1&ucc=CA&dcc=CA&opt=0 (geoip localized, desktop site)

'k, if you don't get an iPod Touch-like experience in Fx on Android let's reopen, since that's what this bug is about..
