User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 Build ID: 20120420145725 Steps to reproduce: v. 12.0.1 Changed "Inbox" view so that field "From" was shown and field "Recipient" was not. Actual results: Change propagated to the "Sent" folder (and every other folder, also in other account): as a result, "Recipient" disappeared everywhere (and, of course, "From" shows myself as sender for each message everywhere). Expected results: Should be able to: - in "Inbox" folder: show "From" and hide "Recipient" - in "Sent" folder: show "Recipient" and hide "From" - etc. In other words, changes to a folder view should be retained only for the changed folder and not propagated to others.
Column sizes and positions are also propagated.
Did this work in previous versions for you? It officially should I just ask for your specific installation.
Worked normally before. I've been using Thunderbird with Local Folders only and noted the problem after I added an IMAP account. Already had 12.0.1 when the IMAP account was added.
Can't explain why, but the error disappeared. Checked today each and all folders under Local Folder - for each one both chosen columns and their position are being retained individually. The same applies to the IMAP account folders. Transient problem?? Changed status to RESOLVED - INVALID.
