We need 3 vms for the Source project as part of mozilla opennews

    Distro: CentOS
    Memory: 256M 
    CPU count: 1
    Disk size: 8G
    Project name: Source-dev, Source-staging, and Source-prod
    Project owner: [e-mail]
    Needs https access from the internet [y]
        Need other ports besides 80/https: no
    Needs a DNS domain name (.i.e. myproject.org): yes: source-dev.mozillalabs.com, source-staging.mozillalabs.com, and source.mozillaopennews.org
    Good to know what installed services you'll be running:
        e.g.: apache, mysql

(these will all be a simple playdoh app: apache, python, django, mysql)


(I don't actually know what the memory req't is for prod, but I don't know why it would be high -- if Ross has an opinion, let him voice it herein.)

We'll wan to set up a shared user account for Ross & Ryan (and maybe others) to go and push things, but that can come later and be done extra-bugaraliry.

I just wanted to link to a basic description of what the project was, it's not needed. The VMs should be up sometime tomorrow.

The following VMs have been spun up:

source-dev1.vm.labs.scl3.mozilla.com
source-stage1.vm.labs.scl3.mozilla.com
source-prod1.vm.labs.scl3.mozilla.com

Ross has sudo on all of them, but I am not sure what Ryan you are referring to.

Once there is content ready to be publicly visible, please file a separate bug for DNS and public visibility.

And 'ryan.a.pitts' is his posix userid.

Sudo rights granted on all 3 VMs, but Ross, you could have done it yourself with

$> sudo visudo
