Launching a secure URL launches a new window of IE (IE6 beta in my case) where
the proper page is rendered securely, and the Mozilla window shows the proper
URL, but displays only a blank page.

this is happening as of tonight when PSM2 finally landed properly in win32.
Currently using win32-installer 2001041320

I'm seeing similar behavior using 2001041408 on win98.
In my case, typing in a https url results in Netscape 4.76 starting up and
loading the page. Mozilla does not show anything different from the last page I
was at. If I try to access a bookmarked secure site, the location bar isn't
updated, and the same thing happens.

Please try this with the latest installer. The first installer with PSM 2 had
some problems :)
