This is a tracking bug to follow the translation of the Whatsnew page for as many locales as we can.
This translation also includes a short .srt file to be uploaded on Amara.
Per locale bugs will be filed.

"we recommend downloading to the"
Does this make sense in English?

Another question.
English page, newsletter box
"Sign up to get our monthly newsletter featuring special Mozilla news, Firefox tips & tricks, and more!"
Localized pages, same spot
"Get the latest tips and tricks for getting the most out of your favorite browser."
Any explanation for this difference?

I guess it should be "downloading the", right? (Don’t we love cut and paste ;) )
Another issue: the "Sign me up" string lacks a space between itself and >> in localized pages, only en-US is OK.

This is the same meaning but we already have the second string translated since we use it in various places on the website.

I'll fix that.

The "Keep in touch" area is not being shown for some locales, at least eo, nl and sq. I checked with Firefox and Chrome:

@Eduardo, This is not a bug, we will only show the Keep in touch section to locales that do translate this newsletter on this page.

As is becoming usual, the chosen font (Open Sans Light) doesn't have all accented characters:

The Firefox newsletter is translated every month in a few languages (not Esperanto), for documents that we send to end-users like the whatsnew page and unlike pages that end-users visit by themselves when visiting mozilla.org, we try our best to avoid exposing people to text and links that are not maintained or translated in their language.

(Also sent to world-ready and l10n-web lists)
I'd seen lots of subtitle improvements on "What's New" video of Firefox 13 on Amara stayed in the draft status and wait for approve. Is there anybody follow the revision of movie on following change?
Their must be problems that we showing the subtitled on "what's new" page with Amara UI, allowed peoples to improve it directly with Amara, but no mention about that they need to wait for someone's review and approve. We just can't make contributor wondering why the subtitled stay on draft for life long time.
Also is there anyone who watch behind the Amara for subtitle modifing? I'd contact our locale l10n owner, even him don't know the "Mozilla" group and privilege things on Amara. Shouldn't we give the approve privilege to l10n owner and make them concern on the subtitled modify?

This is only half of the locale. We just have too many Mozillians doing their best job on improve anything l10n of mozilla include the above subtitle, that I'm lacking of time to check each all to the end of locale list.
It's obvious we push the l10n procedure on video subtitle too soon to be done, and world is not ready, again.
